When riding around in the city, you'll need to bring more with you than you can carry. That leads to this question: messenger bag or pannier? DEW solves that for you.
The messenger bag has been popularized by couriers, who use to swing the bag to the front of their body to quickly access their contents. So it has become the method for most cyclists to carry their laptops, books etc. But... A negative point of the messenger bag is that it is stuck to your back, which hurts your shoulder.
Therefore DEW has decided to launch a messenger pannier. They're originally designed for cycle touring and are meant to be bolted onto the front fork rear triangle of the bike. Ours is water-repellent and made for all seasons.
Since we know riders are concerned about their electronics, we've added padded this one completely. Normally, a casual pannier is heavy, but with the fabrics we've chosen, that negative point has been taken care off. On top, it's an organizational beast. With 1 main compartment with padded laptop -or tablet sleeve. If you need to attach something quickly, 1 large outer compartment for office stuff and 1 outer quick access pocket... For your keys.
It usually takes a while to get it on and off your back, therefore our hang system fits tubes op to 17 mm diameter. Like or previous backpacks AVO and AVAIL, this bag is expandable. Big bag if you need it to be big, small and minimalist if you need it to be small. But normally 16 liters can enter.
Broken light? This one has reflective trims all over the bag, and reflective zippers. Yes, we care about your safety. Oh yeah, obviously our pannier is water-repellent, and has a waterproof zipper.
